Are Singaporeans gracious and socially responsible?
To me, Singaporeans should be more responsible in taking care of themselves, and be aware of the H1N1 flu. We should take precautions and avoid such things to increase in Singapore. We also should do our part, in not visiting the countries that have the most cases of H1N1 flu. This way, we can help our country manage the number of cases. Also, we have to be considerate by taking care of ourselves and stay healthy. Stop doing unhygenic things like spitting onto the ground, sneeze without a tissue paper and cough freely without covering our hands. If we exercise these practices into our daily life, we can help contribute and not help by spreading our flu to other people. As a Singaporean, i do agree that some of us do not do the things as i mentioned earlier, especially by spitting onto the ground. We find that common among the old people in neighbourhood estates. We should stop this, stop before all these gets even worse as it is. As a gracious Singaporean citizens, we should help one another stop this virus from spreading, and instead, practise the good habits. We can do it, i know. SARS, I remember how our nation suffered. But, we cured that. We stopped it. We can do it. If all of us manage the situation well, all of these will stop any minute. By continuing our daily unhygenic habits, it won't help. By covering our mouths with 'masks' and be 'kiasu' about the whole thing, it won't help if you still do the
unhygenic things. We should spread the message and be healthy Singaporeans. Therefore, we as Singaporeans should do our part.
